Tithe Barn Hotel

Absolutely stunning place to stay, staying for 2 nights and I felt compelled to write a review following the first night. The room is self is finished to such a high standard. My favourite part is the window nook in room 4 to look out people watching. Communication has been amazing, very clear instructions around entry/self check in and parking. Great location close to lots of amenities.

We experienced a fabulous weekend away and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tithe Barn. The room was a very comfortable environment and what a lovely location. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will be coming again!

Beautiful room. We stayed in the superior king and the high vaulted ceilings made the room feel so spacious and luxurious. Decorated to perfection! The bathroom was also large, with powerful shower. The perfect place to relax. Parking was 30 seconds away. The supermarket is opposite and restaurants are plentiful around this central location. Couldn’t have asked for more!

What a fantastic place, lovely and warmth with character and great interior style. The photos don't really make justice of how stunning our room was. Perfect stay from start, parking is only 2 min away and the breakfast was served at the café just around the corner, which has a great choice of food and drinks. Very quiet, easy to access our room (no keys needed), room was clean and tidy (kettle descaled and tea, biscuit and coffee provided daily).Overall we had a great stay, I would definitely recommend and will come back again.

Very nice rooms in the center of Cockermouth. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. Lovely bathrooms too.

The rooms are spotless and everything feels fresh and well-maintained. The bed is very comfortable, the heating works perfectly, and the shower pressure is excellent. The self-service check-in is also very convenient. The only issue is that there’s no mini fridge, the hair drier leaves a lot to be desired and a little table with a couple of chairs would be nice so you don’t feel so boxed in.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Would recommend, spotless rooms with lovely decor. Spoke to lady in charge of cleaning, she wanted to know if we were pleased with cleanliness which we were, told her it was spotless. The car park is only 2 minutes round the corner which was excellent. The cafe for your breakfast is absolutely great and friendly with varied menu. Gareth who greets you in the morning goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. He,s so friendly to everyone who comes through the door. Special thanks to Gareth as my husband was unwell one morning and he couldn’t have been more helpful. Gave us lots of information on where to visit each day. Thank you most enjoyable place to stay.
